Privacy Policy
Ennakko calculates your cycle forecast on your phone. This document names exactly what sits on the device, what leaves it and who sees that.
Updated 31 August 2026
In short
Period dates, your check-ins and everything the forecast is calculated from sit on the device. We do not see them.
Nothing leaves the device for us. A copy of your history goes to your own iCloud, so the data is found on a new phone. We do not see that copy.
Subscriptions are processed by the App Store. Ennakko reads subscription status and transaction details on your device to manage access and show renewal information. Ennakko does not receive your card details or send purchase history to a server of ours.
What sits on the device
This is the data the app stores locally. It is sent neither to us nor to anyone else.
- Period dates — what the forecast is calculated from
- The cycle length you named, while there are still too few dates of your own
- Wellbeing check-ins: bleeding, body, focus, mood, sleep
- Cycle specifics, if you entered them: irregular cycle, PCOS, perimenopause, hormonal contraception
- Your name — optional, only so the app can address you
- Settings: language, start of the week, notifications, which calendars to show
- Your “matched / did not match” answers about the accuracy of the forecast
What leaves the device
To us — nothing. No dates, no check-ins, no email: the app has no server that could receive them.
One thing does leave the device: a copy of your history, into your own iCloud, so the data is found on a new phone. That is Apple’s storage, tied to your Apple ID. We have no access to it and do not see this copy; Apple keeps it, on its own terms, like the rest of your iCloud. Turn iCloud off and the app works the same — your data just will not move across.
There is no Ennakko account or sign-in. iCloud uses the Apple Account already configured on your device.
Subscriptions are processed by the App Store. Ennakko reads subscription status and transaction details on your device to manage access and show renewal information. Ennakko does not receive your card details or send purchase history to a server of ours.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional. With your permission, Ennakko reads menstrual flow dates from January 2024 onward to calculate your cycle forecast and the report you choose to share. It does not write to Health.
Dates read from Health are held in memory on your device and re-read when you open Ennakko. Creating a report saves a temporary PDF on the device that can include these dates; you choose whether to share it. Health dates are not included in Ennakko’s iCloud history copy or the Save a backup file, and are not used for advertising or sold. Only your connection choice is saved locally.
Manage access in Health → your profile → Apps → Ennakko, or disconnect in Profile → Apple Health. Delete all data also disconnects Health. Disconnecting removes those dates from Ennakko’s forecast; original records stay in Apple Health, where you can edit or delete them.
Calendar
If you allowed access, the app reads the times and titles of events so it can show the meetings that fall on an energy dip. We never write to your calendar.
Events are read on the device and sent nowhere. You choose which calendars to show yourself — Profile → “Calendar events”. You can withdraw the permission in your phone settings at any moment.
Notifications
Reminders are assembled on the device from the same dates as the forecast. We see neither their text nor their timing — the app has no server that could send them.
What we do not do
- We do not sell data
- We do not pass it to advertisers
- We do not train any models on it
- We do not show ads
- We do not embed third-party counters or trackers
Why you can check this
The app carries no advertising libraries and no analytics — no third-party body of code that would collect data. You can see it in the App Privacy labels on Ennakko’s App Store page: they read “Data Not Collected”.
Taking it away, or erasing it
“Save a backup” in Profile assembles a file of your dates and check-ins. The file is created on the device with no network involved and can be carried back onto another phone.
“Delete all data” removes saved health details from this device with no recovery period and queues removal of their iCloud copy, even if synchronization is off. The Deletion screen shows whether iCloud has confirmed removal or a retry is needed. Keep the app installed until it finishes. Empty sync records and a deletion marker remain to prevent older data returning on updated devices.
How long it is kept
For as long as the app is on the phone. The data lives in the app’s own storage, so deleting the app erases it along with it.
Age
Ennakko is intended for people aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect data where we know the user is younger.
Your rights
European law gives you several rights over your own data: to find out what is stored about you, to take it away as a file, to correct a mistake and to demand deletion.
The first three are covered by the app itself — “Your data”, “Save a backup”, “Delete all data”. If a question is left that the app could not settle, write to support@ennakko.app.
Changes
The moment the app starts asking for something new, this document changes with it and the date at the top is updated. We will announce anything substantial in the app, under “What’s new”.
Who is responsible for the data
The app is published by a private individual. Questions about data — support@ennakko.app: write to that address both to find out what is stored about you and to ask for it to be erased.
